Culinary Arts High School Program

Easterseals South Florida’s Culinary Arts High School Program provides young adults ages 14–22 with autism and other developmental disabilities the opportunity to explore their talents, build essential job skills, and pursue meaningful careers in the food service industry.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Special education services for students 14 to 22 years old with small group sizes and teacher to student ratio.

WHAT WE PROVIDE
The program includes culinary arts classes, targets independent living skills, job training skills, transition services in addition to regular academic components, swimming and physical education classes.

DATES: The program operates year-round-breaks similar to MDPS calendar

FEE*: Accepts Gardiner Scholarships and Private Pay FES Unique Abilities and FES Educational Option Step Up scholarships

FREE: Summer Camp and After School program priority for current students

CLASSROOM SIZE: 1:5 teacher to student ratio

*Tuition fees differ based on the institution, program, and residency status.
