Education Services

Easterseals South Florida provides a continuum of educational services—from early intervention and inclusive child care, to specialized K–8 instruction and vocational high school training, supplemented by free after-school and summer programs.

Overview

Easterseals South Florida provides exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy so that people living with autism and other disabilities can live, learn, work and play in our communities.

Our Programs

Child Development Center (CDC)

Our Child Development Center (CDC) provides FREE Early Intervention Services for children with disabilities from 0-3 years old. Special education reverses mainstream services for children from 0 - 5 years old. Therapy services are available on-site daily for qualifying participants.

Elementary and Middle School Academy (Private School)

Special Education services for Pre-K, Elementary, and Middle School Students with small group sizes and a teacher-to-student ratio.

Culinary Arts High School Program

For students with disabilities aged 14 to 22 years old. Culinary Arts classes, independent living skills training, job skills training, and transition to adulthood support.

Swimming Classes

Swimming classes in our indoor pool are provided to all our Child Development, Academy, and High School students once a week as part of physical education.

After School & Summer Programs 

Free of charge for students aged 3 months to 22 years old, funded by The Children's Trust.

 

We accept Step Up Scholarships.

    Coffee and Cookies on Wheels

    Coffee and Cookies on Wheels is a mobile café operated by young adults with disabilities, offering more than just great coffee—it’s a pathway to employment, independence, and community engagement.

    Culinary Arts High School Program

    Easterseals South Florida’s Culinary Arts High School Program provides young adults ages 14–22 with autism and other developmental disabilities the opportunity to explore their talents, build essential job skills, and pursue meaningful careers in the food service industry.

    Easterseals South Florida is proud to offer Head Start and Early Head Start preschool programs that provide high-quality early childhood education, health, nutrition, and social services to children and families in our community.

    Kindergarten to 8th Grade Special Education

    Easterseals Academy is a specialized private school for students with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities. It serves Kindergarten through 8th grade, with a strong focus on individualized instruction.
