Coffee and Cookies On Wheels is a dynamic mobile classroom within the culinary arts program at Easterseals South Florida. Committed to empowering neurodiverse young adults, the program offers invaluable hands-on training and fosters meaningful career experiences.

What can you expect from the cart experience?

Each microtargeted event, organized and staffed entirely by the Culinary Arts High School program, transforms the coffee cart into a real-world classroom. Here, students receive hands-on training in barista skills, customer service, mathematical operations, and entrepreneurship, while also promoting the program to our community. As you enjoy a cup of high-quality coffee, our high school students gain practical experience and prepare for future success.

Educating the community on Diversity & Inclusion

Along with operating the coffee cart, the Easterseals team offers training on Diversity and Inclusion. This training aims to educate the community about disability awareness and acceptance. By participating in the program, community members learn about neurodiversity first-hand and help create meaningful employment opportunities for young adults with disabilities. This approach blends education, awareness, and empowerment, fostering a more inclusive future.
