Vivian was diagnosed about two years ago with short-term memory loss and the beginning stages of Dementia. Her devoted husband Dennis realized that he would need some assistance as her main caregiver, and was grateful to find a trusted resource in our Kendall Adult Day Care.

Easterseals has made a direct impact on providing the necessary care and activities that have kept my wife mentally and physically engaged to combat and slow down the progression of the disease.

During the time that my wife has been at Easterseals, it has allowed me to regenerate myself in order to take better care of her at home.

One of the activities that we enjoy most is the music at the center. I, along with my wife, play a few percussion instruments as the residents join in dancing and singing to the music. To observe the gratification they receive from this activity is a reciprocal blessing for all.
