Meet Gabriel

Gabriel has been a part of Easterseals since he was three years old, initially facing challenges in communication and behavior due to his autism diagnosis. His parents encountered difficulties with scheduling that affected his ability to participate in school. However, with early intervention and therapy, Gabriel gradually learned to express himself verbally, interact with peers, and find joy in school activities. He now greets his classmates, engages in group tasks, and is working on self-regulation. The individual support he has received has significantly enhanced his behavior and social skills, enabling him to assist others and model positive behavior. Recent assessments show that he is functioning at an age-appropriate level and no longer needs therapy at school.
