Meet Arya

Arya Santiago is just 2½ years old and full of potential. Arya has severe autism, which makes it impossible for her to be cared for in a typical after-school program.

Arya, Child Development Center Student

Family support is essential for early childhood intervention. On this back-to-school week, we celebrate the amazing, grateful moms who work diligently with Easterseals to make sure their kids enrolled in our Child Development Center reach every milestone. A special education teacher, educational advocate, and medical consultant, Angel came to us seeking more than just therapy for her amazing 2-year-old daughter Arya — she was searching for hope wrapped in action. Through the comprehensive intervention services of our school team, Arya has become more confident, more communicative, and more connected with the world around her. In Angel’s own words: “When you support Easterseals, you don’t just fund a program — you become part of someone’s miracle. You give families like mine a chance to dream bigger, worry less, and believe again.”
