Overview

A Safe, Supportive Place to Learn, Grow, and Belong
Easterseals South Florida’s Adult Day Services IDD Program supports adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building independence, life skills, and meaningful social connections—while giving families peace of mind and dependable daytime care.

Who is this Program for

Adults 18+ with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) who benefit from structured daytime support, supervision, skill-building activities, and opportunities to connect with others in a safe, caring environment.

What Your Loved One Will Experience

Skill Building for Everyday Life
Participants learn and practice daily living skills that support greater independence, confidence, and self-expression.

Engaging Daily Activities
A structured schedule that promotes:

  • Social interaction and communication
  • Cognitive development
  • Physical movement and wellness
  • Creativity and emotional well-being

Community Connections
Supervised outings and activities that help participants feel connected, included, and engaged in the community.

Personal Care & Supervision
Support with daily needs such as mobility, hygiene, and routines—always provided with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Health & Wellness Support
Medication administration (when needed), health monitoring, and nutritious meals or snacks tailored to individual needs.

Every participant has an individualized support plan created with input from the participant and family. Plans focus on:

  • Personal strengths and interests
  • Independence and choice
  • Safety, comfort, and well-being
  • Building confidence and life skills

Support for Families & Caregivers

We understand how important dependable care is for families. Our program provides:

  • Reliable daytime supervision
  • Respite and peace of mind for caregivers
  • Ongoing communication and care coordination

We Accept:

  • Private Pay
  • Florida Community Care (FCC) Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Comprehensive Managed Care (ICMC) Program
  • Financial assistance is available upon request
