Easterseals South Florida’s Adult Day Services IDD Program supports adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building independence, life skills, and meaningful social connections—while giving families peace of mind and dependable daytime care.
Who is this Program for
Adults 18+ with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) who benefit from structured daytime support, supervision, skill-building activities, and opportunities to connect with others in a safe, caring environment.
What Your Loved One Will Experience
Skill Building for Everyday Life
Participants learn and practice daily living skills that support greater independence, confidence, and self-expression.
Engaging Daily Activities
A structured schedule that promotes:
- Social interaction and communication
- Cognitive development
- Physical movement and wellness
- Creativity and emotional well-being
Community Connections
Supervised outings and activities that help participants feel connected, included, and engaged in the community.
Personal Care & Supervision
Support with daily needs such as mobility, hygiene, and routines—always provided with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Health & Wellness Support
Medication administration (when needed), health monitoring, and nutritious meals or snacks tailored to individual needs.
A Person-Centered Approach
Every participant has an individualized support plan created with input from the participant and family. Plans focus on:
- Personal strengths and interests
- Independence and choice
- Safety, comfort, and well-being
- Building confidence and life skills
Support for Families & Caregivers
We understand how important dependable care is for families. Our program provides:
- Reliable daytime supervision
- Respite and peace of mind for caregivers
- Ongoing communication and care coordination
We Accept:
- Private Pay
- Florida Community Care (FCC) Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Comprehensive Managed Care (ICMC) Program
- Financial assistance is available upon request
