Lourdes is a senior healthcare executive, investor, and strategic board advisor with more than 30 years of experience in government-sponsored healthcare programs. Most recently, she served as President of Anthem’s Medicare East Region, where she oversaw Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, C-SNP, and Medicare Supplement plans across nine states, serving more than 800,000 members and managing approximately $8 billion in annualized revenue.
Throughout her career, Lourdes has led sales, healthcare management, quality, revenue, and network management functions and has developed long-term growth strategies. She previously served as Vice President of Alliances within Anthem’s Government Business Division and as Florida Medicaid Plan President, where she successfully integrated multiple health plans to create one of the state’s largest Medicaid managed care organizations.
Lourdes began her career in home- and community-based care and later served as Vice President of National Managed Care Accounts at DentaQuest. She is fluent in Spanish. In addition to Easterseals, she currently serves on the board of St. Thomas University and as an advisor to Florida International University’s Center for Leadership.
Lourdes holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University and resides in Florida with her family.
