Jeanette Gonzalez, a seasoned healthcare professional with 17 years of nursing experience, has built a distinguished career across diverse areas, including Managed Care, Case Management, Home Health, Hospice, and Utilization Management. As Director of Adult Day Services at Easterseals South Florida, Jeanette leads multiple centers across Miami-Dade and Broward specializing in Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-related disorders. Her expertise ensures regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of care for the elderly and their families.
Before stepping into her current role, Jeanette served as Director of Case Management & Health Services at Easterseals South Florida, where she played a pivotal role in developing operational policies that enhanced service delivery. Her leadership has been key in managing budgets, coordinating care teams, and negotiating contracts with service providers. Jeanette’s impact extends far beyond day-to-day management—she has a keen ability to drive strategic initiatives that align with both organizational goals and the evolving needs of the community. Prior to her work at Easterseals, Jeanette made significant contributions as a Case Manager Supervisor at Florida Community Care. In this role, she oversaw community case managers, supported them in managing their caseloads, and ensured adherence to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines. During her time at Molina Healthcare of Florida, Jeanette held roles as a Care Review Clinician and Transition of Care Coach and in these positions, she was responsible for assessing inpatient services to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while promoting cost-effective care and better patient outcomes. Jeanette skillfully analyzed clinical service requests using evidence-based guidelines, assessed benefits and eligibility, and ensured appropriate lengths of stay for treatments were determined.
