Cristy is Executive Vice President and CFO of Ryder System, Inc., a Fortune 500 transportation and supply chain management solutions company. In this position, she is responsible for corporate accounting and planning, internal and external financial reporting, and various accounting departments. Prior to this position, Cristy served as Assistant Controller, leading Ryder’s corporate accounting, benefits accounting and payroll accounting departments.
Cristy joined Ryder in 2004 as Director of Technical Accounting, and later served as Director and Senior Director of Corporate Accounting. Before joining Ryder, she was Senior Manager of Technical Accounting at LNR Property Corporation. She began her accounting career in KPMG’s audit practice, where she spent seven years supporting a number of corporate accounts, including Ryder. Cristy is a member of the Planning Committee for Ryder’s Women’s Leadership Forum. She has also served on Ryder’s Diversity & Inclusion Council, a team of 12 cross-functional business leaders that works to drive accountability for diversity and inclusion initiatives within Ryder. She also serves on the Board of the Easter Seals of South Florida. In 2013, she was named “Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever” by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility. She has also been named a “Top 40 under 40 Professional” by the South Florida Business Journal, “Woman Worth Watching” in Profiles in Diversity Journal and “Top 40 Under 40 Finance Professional” in Treasury & Risk magazine.
Cristy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Women MBAs. She is a Florida Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida International University.
