Amy Avalos is Senior Vice President, Chief Sustainability Business Officer and Corporate Secretary of World Kinect Corporation. In this strategic role, Amy is driving the Company’s energy transition and corporate responsibility efforts throughout the organization. She is responsible for overseeing the global decarbonization strategy for the Company’s own operations and partnering with its business leaders and other stakeholders to support the organization’s broader energy transition objectives and ambitions. Amy is also supporting many other environmental, social and governance initiatives, including diversity, equity and inclusion, health and safety, as well as engaging with and supporting the communities in which the Company operates. Prior to this role, Amy served as the Company’s Senior Vice President, Chief Corporate Counsel and Corporate Secretary, where she was responsible for securities, finance, and corporate governance, as well as overseeing compliance, labor and employment, strategic transactions, and acquisitions. Before joining World Kinect Corporation in 2012, Amy was an associate at the global law firm Greenberg Traurig, specializing in the areas of securities, finance, and corporate governance. Prior to that, she worked for Blank Rome, advising public companies, private companies, and venture capital firms on securities and corporate governance matters. She holds a Juris Doctor from Florida State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Florida State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University. Amy is a proud member of the Board of Directors of Easter Seals South Florida, where she serves as its Treasurer and chairs the Finance and Investment Committee.
