Easterseals South Florida and Remember2 Launch Innovative AI-Powered SafeSteps Pilot Program

Pembroke Pines, FL – October 22, 2025 – Easterseals South Florida, in partnership with Remember2, Inc., is proud to announce the launch of the Rm2.ai SafeSteps Pilot Program at the Southwest Focal Point Senior Center in Pembroke Pines. The pilot will include 15 participants enrolled in Easterseals’ Adult Day Care program, with the consent of their caregivers. Media representatives are invited to attend this exciting event taking place on November 5th from 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm at South West Focal Point, 301 NW 103rd Avenue, Pembroke Pines, FL 33026.

Developed by Remember2 CEO and Co-Founder Corlette Deveaux and her team of medical professionals, advisors, and technology engineers, Rm2.ai has gained international attention for its groundbreaking integration of artificial intelligence and healthcare technology. Originally from The Bahamas and now a South Florida resident, Deveaux created the platform with a deeply personal mission.

The Rm2.ai SafeSteps Program combines advanced AI technology with wearable devices to provide:

  • 24/7 real-time monitoring of vitals and fall detection
  • Medication, appointment, and hydration reminders
  • Location tracking with alerts for caregivers and family members

Rm2.ai is designed to help older adults “stay safe, stay connected, and live independently,” while offering peace of mind to their loved ones. Each participant will receive a smart device to track vital signs such as blood pressure, along with a user-friendly guide for better use of mobile technology. The program also includes Remy™, the Personal AI Assistant Companion™, which offers conversation and companionship for older adults.

Deveaux’s inspiration for Remember2 is rooted in personal experience.

“My mother hated taking her medication, had a stroke, and fell—she wasn’t found for hours,” said Deveaux. “She didn’t leave the hospital alive. The number one economic burden in the U.S. is medication non-adherence, costing taxpayers over $300 billion annually. Remember2 was created to help save lives and reduce those costs.”

Easterseals South Florida provides home and community-based services designed to promote independent living and improve the quality of life for adults and seniors. Programs include Adult Day Care, in-home respite, and companionship services for individuals needing support with daily activities. Specialized programs for Alzheimer’s and memory-related disorders integrate therapeutic and engaging activities in safe, nurturing environments staffed by skilled nursing professionals. Easterseals South Florida operates Adult Day Care centers in Kendall, Civic Center, and Pembroke Pines.
