Easter Seals Pembroke Pines Person-Centered Care

Caring for a family member? You're not alone. According to the National Family Caregivers Association,more than one quarter of the adult population has provided care to a family member or friend during the past year.

Easter Seals Adult Day Services offer programs and resources to help you provide the best possible care for your spouse, parent, adult child or another loved one who needs assistance with daily living. This service allows you time to run errands, attend doctor's appointments, engage in a hobby, and care for yourself, so that you are able to continue providing care at home.

Easter Seals South Florida provides day care and in-home respite to those with Alzheimer's Disease and other memory-related disorders. Our environment is warm, nurturing, safe and secure. Our specialty services include physical, music, recreational and pet therapies.

An added feature is that our facility is an intergenerational facility where our adult day care clients have opportunities to interact with the children in our Child Development Center and students in the Autism Elementary School and Culinary Arts High School, especially during a holiday. A holiday is the perfect opportunity for a parade where the children pass by the hallways in theme with the particular holiday. The faces of the adults light up when they see the adorable children, as well as the children's as the adults greet and cheer them on.
