Preschool Activities for Language Stimulation (Broward Facility) Preschool Activities for Language Stimulation (PALS) is a great alternative language stimulation program for children 2-3 years of age and their parents. In addition, the program incorporates training on behavior management techniques during each session. The goal is to provide each child with stimulating and fun ways to develop social language skills in a specially designed therapeutic environment. The program is developmentally and behaviorally based, which means that it is a program where children and their parents participate in a variety of learning activities such as: music, circle time, snack, pe-literacy, art activities and developmental play. Children will acquire learning readiness skills such as, sitting in a chair, following directions, attending and communicating during small group activities. Parents are taught Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques proven to be effective for increasing the above skills for children with special needs, such as autism, and is an essential part of the program.
