Profile International experience • Hector Tundidor serves as a Senior Global Client Service Partner (GCSP) on several of EY’s largest clients. He currently serves as GCSP on an EY G360 Account. He is a Strategy and Transaction (SaT) Leader based in Miami and has extensive experience leading global cross border transactions for the Firm’s largest client. • Hector has previously served in numerous leadership roles for EY. Select leadership roles include: Miami Office Managing Partner, TAS Florida Markets Leader, America’s Diversity and Inclusiveness Steering Committee and America’s Emerging Services Development Leader focused on developing new services, innovation and driving strategic investments for Americas TAS. Transaction-specific and international experience • Hector has been involved in numerous domestic and international transactions covering various industries. • Hector is a founding member of EYs Latin America Transaction Practice. • Hector has worked on over 250 due diligence Global assignments for investments ranging in size from several hundred million to over $25 billion. He has also had substantial accounting and auditing experience with SEC clients. • Given his initial focus on Transactions in Latin America and his GCSP roles, Hector has had varied experience across sectors and geographies. His select industry experience includes: advertising/media, engineering and construction, beverage, consumer products, distribution/logistics, manufacturing, retail, restaurants, sugar, transportation (air/maritime/rail/trucking), technology and telecommunications. • Hector has extensive and broad deal experience across the globe. • Hector has extensive experience with US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS and countryspecific GAAP within the certain countries, where applicable. • Hector is fluent in English and Spanish and is competent in Portuguese. Education and memberships • Hector is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of accounting and business experience. Hector graduated with a Bachelors of Accounting from Florida International University and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Miami with honors. • Hector is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Cuban-American Certified Public Accountants Association (CACPA), Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) and Florida Institute and Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a former board member and past President of CACPA. He is also a former United Way of Miami-Dade cabinet advisory board member. Hector is also a member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) and a graduate of the GMCC Leadership Miami program. Currently a Member of a number of community boards, such as: Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation President’s Cabinet, member of the Easter Seals of South Florida Board of Directors, After School All Star’s Board of Directors, active member of FIU Dean’s Council, Executive Committee member of the University of Miami Citizens Board, Executive Committee member and Treasurer of Orange Bowl Committee and ALPFA National Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) Member.
